Birthday Week...

Happy Birthday to the BEST Daddy in the whole wide world!!!! 

Today is Ben's 27th Birthday!  Yay!!  Let me just tell you, he is amazing!  He is the best husband and father anyone could ask for!  He is such a hard worker.  He works so hard to provide for our family.  But even as hard as he works he plays even harder!  He loves playing with Hunter and Maggie!  He is always playing all kinds of things with Hunter-man... football, blue ghost, swords, swimming, Albert, anything and everything! 

He is such a wonderful Daddy!  And he is the best husband Ever!!!  There is nothing he can't do!  He cooks a lot!  (and it's ALWAYS yummy!)  He takes care of the yard, but most importantly he takes care of me.  He is always there to listen to my ideas and is always encouraging in times that I need it!  He even went shopping with me last weekend and let me tell you... he is the BEST shopper!  I need him to go with me more often! :)  I am so blessed to have him as my husband!  He is a man after God's heart!  He is just the BEST! 

Happy Birthday, Babe!  I love you so much!

Look At Her Go!

Well after 7 months, Maggie is mobile!  That's right she is crawling and making our lives more complicated with each inch.  Now we have to make sure all of Hunter's toys are up off the ground and all the outlets are covered.

Well... Maggie got her first kiss today.  Yes, you read correctly!  Logan was over today and they were happily playing on the floor when all of a sudden... Logan, with both hands, grabbed Maggie's face and brought her close and kissed her!!!  I am not kidding!  It was too cute!  

While I was keeping Logan and Mags, Hunter went with Honey to see...

He LOVED it!!!  He has really been into Sesame Street lately.  He is all about his numbers and letters.  In fact the other day Ben was trying to get Hunter to sleep when he said, "Daddy I'm gonna be a football player when I get big and I'm gonna be number 7."  When Ben asked why number 7 he said, "Because it's the number of the day!"  He had so much fun!  I asked him who he liked best and of course he said...

Elmo!!!  He then told me my favorite character was Grover and Ben's was Oscar.  Maggie's favorite is Abby.  By the way you need to ask Hunter to say Abby's whole name!  It is too cute!  

Hunter also got an awesome gift today.  He got a new picnic table from Nana and Grumpy!!!! Yay!!!  We are so excited!!  He had to eat lunch and dinner at it!  We tried to get a picture of Hunter at the table at lunch but... well he was in need of a nap!  So I'll get one tomorrow! :)  Thank you Nana and Grumpy!  And thank you Honey for taking Hunter to see Sesame Street Live!!

Monday, Monday... lala lalala

Yay for Monday!  Hunter wrote the letter "H" for the very first time!  He was so excited!  He kept saying, "H for Hunter and H for Honey".  He wanted to make a "C" for Coach, "N" for Nana and "G" for Grumpy but after he watched me "draw" it he decided he would stick with "H" for now.  

He writes it sideways but hey... he can do it! =)

Maggie also had a big day!  She has been eating real food for a while now, but she has been sitting in her bumbo when I feed her.  Well Monday I finally cleaned the high chair!  She loved sitting at the table!  She looks so tiny in such a big chair.

What a great day!!  I am so thankful I am home and able to see all these new things the kids are doing!  Thank you, Lord for allowing me to stay home!!  And thank you Ben for working sooo hard for our family!!! I love you so much!

Fun in the Sun Saturday!

We had the BEST Saturday we have had in a long time yesterday!  We were blessed to keep 2 very sweet boys all day.  Hunter was in heaven!  We had gotten Hunter a pool for his party and just for the summer, so we tried it out!  We had so much fun watching the boys play!  Here are some pictures of our super fun in the sun day...

They couldn't wait to get in... but it was sooo cold!  We were trying to talk them into waiting just a little bit to let the sun warm it up some but as you can see they were already a little wet... :)

So in they went! 

Ben was trying to get them to all smile at the camera, but all they wanted to do was play!  I don't blame them! :)  JD (the sweet boy on the right) was "diving"in the pool.  That is why his hand are like that! :)

On to the slip-n-slide!!!  Kade and Hunter watched as the pro did it!

Yay JD!!  He was the only one to really slide down it the right way.  Ben ended up sliding all the boys down it a few times.  :)  By the way... slip-n-slides are a lot smaller than what I remember.  :) Or maybe I'm just a lot bigger! 

Here is Hunter running along side the slip-n-slide.  If the water was on he did not want to be on it.  If we had the water off he would play! :)

While the boys were playing in the water Maggie played on the patio. :) Sweet girly! 

Okay... back to the pool!  They were in the pool for a total of 3 times on Saturday.  They loved playing in the water, but we also found that they loved to change back into their dry clothes, too. :)

Maggie put on her swim suit, too!  The water was a little to cold for her.  She didn't like it. :(  She loves the bath water, so we will have to try again when the water is warmer. :)

We watched Monsters vs Aliens while trying to "rest".  They were all so tired, but they didn't want to sleep. :)

Hunter played in the pool one more time after the boys had left.  Then he fell asleep while eating dinner! He was worn out!  He had such a great day!  We all did!!  We were so happy to have Kade and JD.
