I'm sorry it has been soo long since our last post. I'm not a very good blogger! :( We had an amazing Christmas this year! Wow! Where do I start...
Coach and Honey were able to come and spend Christmas with us and they got here just in time. IT SNOWED!!!! Not just a little snow...like over 6 inches of the white stuff! We had heard there might be a possibility of snow, but did not think we would wake up to it on Christmas Eve! Thank you Lord!!! It was an early Christmas present! Hunter LOVED it! He made snow angles with Honey, built a snowman, and had a snow ball fight! It was such a good snow we had a REAL White Christmas right here in Abilene.
Hunter was super excited about Santa this year. He knew what was going on this year. He also knew why we were celebrating Christmas. "It's Jesus' birthday!" He would walk around singing Happy Birthday Jesus and many other Christmas songs. So sweet!
Christmas Eve night we ate dinner and watched our new favorite Christmas movie, "Prep and Landing" and made cookies for Santa. Hunter had to make Santa chocolate chip cookies and leave him some pink milk. He was so excited!
On Christmas morning he was very excited to see what Santa had brought. He got his camera!!!! He had been telling us for months about how he wanted a camera to take pictures of Maggie from Santa. He loved all his toys! He would open something or find something under the tree and then not want to open anything else. I think he would have been fine with just one present. :) Such a sweet boy!!! Maggie got a teddy bear from Hunter and a new dolly from Santa. She was so excited she fell asleep while opening her presents! :) The rest of the day we hung out with family. It was so nice! We are so blessed!
Nanna, Grumpy and Uncle Dav came for New Years! Hunter was super excited to see everyone! We had a wonderful time with them, too! Hunter got his Handy Manny Tool Work Shop! He was sooo excited! He had watched the handy manny commercial every morning and really wanted that tool shop! Maggie got some much needed clothes and a cute dolly from her Nie-Nie. We were sad she couldn't be with us!!! :( We enjoyed the weekend with Nanna, Grumpy and David!
We had such a wonderful Christmas and New Years! The Lord is soo good! We are so thankful for our family! We are so thankful for 2 wonderful kids and such loving parents! Life couldn't get much better than this!
Sweet Maggie in her Christmas outfit! :)
