What shall we do today...

How about ride bikes!!!

So yesterday I tried to help Hunter learn to ride his new Buzz Lightyear bike...

I really wish they didn't put foot brakes on kids bikes!  He had a hard time remembering to push the pedals forwards.  Once he got the hang of it for a second his foot would slip and go backwards again.  It was a little confusing!

We tried for a little bit... we'll keep working on it!  He'll get it sooner or later! :)  But doesn't he look cute??!!  Such a sweet boy... ohh and why does he have a butterfly in his hand, you might ask?

That's because Maggie brought out her butterfly push walker toy, so he thought he needed to bring a butterfly out for himself! :)

Maggie was happy to be outside and happy to be playing with her toy too!

8 month old Maggie Moe...

I can't believe my sweet little Maggie is 8 months old!!!  She's growing too fast!!  So what can she do now...

She can crawl!!!  She is so fast!  She loves crawling.  She chases after both Hunter and Kiddo all the time.  She doesn't like to be in her exersaucer anymore.  She would rather be on the floor.  This also means we have to keep everything picked up off the floor.  And I mean EVERYTHING!

She puts everything in her mouth!  No, she does not have any teeth, yet.  I am guessing she is going to get those late like her big brother.  She loves to eat those puff things and also the Gerber melts. (Ben and I are secretly excited because we like those, too! Yummy... don't tell!)  She is eating 3 meals a day, but still will not eat from a bottle!!!  ahhh... I hope she learns how to do that soon!  She did drink about an ounce of apple juice from a sippy cup yesterday... no luck today. :(

She is pulling up on everything!!!  (I will get a picture of that on here soon!)  She can stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything, too.  It is so cute because she is still so small!  She looks so tiny standing up like a big girl.  She love to go over to Hunter's PBK chair and try to get in it.  She does it ALL the time!  Then once she gets in she smiles so big like she is so proud of herself! :) Love it!!!

Maggie is still so small!!!  She still has a couple of pairs of pj's that are 0-3 months! (Crazy!!)  But she is mainly wearing 3-6 months clothes.  You can tell when an outfit is 6-12 months... it's always a little roomie! :)

Maggie LOVES the water!!!  She loves to swim and take baths.  It is sooo hard to give her a bath these days.  She splashes and crawls around the tub, which makes me nervous!  It does not bother her at all to get her face wet!  You can pour water right on top of her head and she won't blink an eye!  In the pool, she would rather "swim" and splash around than sit in the floaty boat.  She is a water baby!!!!

Maggie is still the best baby!!!  She is ALWAYS happy and content!  She can play by herself and loves to explore.  She loves to give me hugs when I pick her up... and I mean real hugs.  She wraps her arms around my neck, puts her head down and gives a little squeeze.  I LOVE IT!!!  The only times she gets upset are when she is hungry and/or tired.  She LOVES Hunter!  She is also always on the lookout for Kiddo.

We are so blessed!  Thank you, Lord for my sweet family and my little lady, Maggie!

More party pics!

More Party Pictures...
Here's Hunter and Caleb playing in the sand!  I wish I had a good picture of Hunter... he was covered!

After the games and little play time we ate pizza from Pizza Planet!!

Here's Hunter man eating his pizza :)
I had baked all the pizza that morning and on my last batch the oven caught on fire!!!  I thought we were going to have to call the fire department, but it went out as soon as I turned the oven off.

Hunter sat by Cailey to eat.

While they were eating their pizza we passed out the party hats!  I was going to make my own hats for the kids to wear, but then I found these!  Aren't the cute?!?

That night after the party the Disney Channel just happened to be playing both Toy Story movies so we watched a little bit of one before bed.  We watched the part with Pizza Planet and Hunter said, "Hey, I had pizza from Pizza Planet at my party!"  We were so excited!!

Sweet Owen in his hat!  I wish I would have gotten a picture of Logan and Maggie in their hats, too! :(  Isn't he cute!

After pizza we did cake.  Here is Hunter waiting for me to light the candles.

We never really got the candles lit!  It was too windy.  Ohh well... he didn't care!  Everyone sang and then had a piece!

He was so excited!

I think he only ate the icing! :)

Kade and JD playing with the blower thingys...

Me and Maggie, Julie and Logan!  I wish we had gotten a picture of Logan looking at us!  He is super cute!

After cake it was present time!  WOW he got some really great stuff!!

Ben was really excited to play with some of the toys! :)

Then we ended the party with a pinata...

It was one of those pull the string so that no one got hurt.

Dylan found the right string!

Candy!!!

We had so much fun this past weekend!  We loved planning everything for the party and were so glad so many of our amazing friends were able to come!!!  Thank you everyone for coming and making Hunter's birthday so wonderful!!!  He is still talking about his party!

After everyone had left Hunter was not quite ready to come inside.  He had gotten a really, super cool "basket goal house" (little tikes playhouse) and Coach and Daddy were trying to get it all together, so he decided to take a little dip in....

the apple bucket! :)

He played in the bucket for a loooong time!

I finally talked him into going inside for a little rest time when Uncle Richard came over.  He brought Hunter a really cool, singing spiderman card.  He loves it!!

I think he fell asleep reading the card...

Such a sweet boy!!  We are so blessed!  Happy Birthday my Hunter-man!

Happy Birthday Hunter-man! (party pics part 1)

3 years ago today at 10:13 in the morning we got to meet our sweet baby boy!  The Lord has blessed us with one amazing little man!!!  He is such a blessing.  He makes each day so much fun!!  He is so sweet and loving.  He is so funny!  We love every single thing about this sweet boy!  I can't believe he is ours! I can not thank the Lord enough for blessing us with Hunter!  Thank you God for choosing us to be his parents!

Now on to his party... since we have so many pictures I thought I would break it up between posts.  This post is the decorations and the party games... Enjoy!

Hunter waiting for his party to start!  Boy was he excited!!!  He couldn't wait! =)

So Hunter wanted to have a Buzz Lightyear party, so that is what we did!  Ben and I were excited because we like Toy Story, too!  We came up with a bunch of games that went along with the theme.  It was so much fun coming up with games!  I think the kids liked them too.

Ben was able to design some signs for the party games.  They were awesome!  I wish I had a picture of our first activity, but some how I didn't get one. :(  Sorry!  So when the kids started to arrive we took them over to Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head's cookie academy and let them decorate a cookie.  I had baked regular sugar cookies and made some eyes, noses, mouths, and ears out of fondant for the kids to make their our "Mr. Potato Head".

Here are the twins from Hunter's class making their cookies!

Then the kids played in the pool for a little bit until everyone got there.

Then it was off to the next game...

Woody's Quickdraw Target Practice

We gave all the kids some water guns and let them practice away...

Ready, Aim, Fire!

Nice shot, Cailey!

Go Hunter, Go!

That away JD!!!

On to the next game...

Rex's Dino Dig

We used Honey and Coach's sand table and hid those little capsules that you put in water and a spongy dinosaur pops out.  Here they are "digging" for the capsules.

And here they are waiting for the dinosaurs to pop out.  It took a little longer than we thought it would.

On to the next game...

Ham's Penny Pool Dive... we dumped some pennies in the pool and let the kids "dive" (or reach) for them.

Here is Hunter "diving" for a penny.  He hates getting his face wet, but we did have some kids go all the way under to get pennies! :)

Still lookin' for pennies!

Next was the Alien Apple Bobbing... we drew the 3 eyes on some green apples.

Who's going to go first... JD show'em how it's done!

Go JD!

Way to go Kade!

Yay Cailey!  Hunter was not going to do this game.  He hates putting his face in the water.  =)

Last they played on the "Infinity and Beyond Water Slide and Pool"

Hunter and Adam

Slip-n-slide!!!

That's my Hunter-man!  (Of course Daddy had to slide him down.)

And what is a birthday party without cake???

Buzz Lightyear cake!

I was excited how the cake turned out.  I was a little nervous at first.  I love making cakes!  I just don't have the time to do it all the time.  Happy Birthday my sweet Hunter man!!

More picture from the party to come... now off to bed! :)
