Big weekend for Archer

Well it was finally time... time for Archer's first haircut!
Hunter had his first haircut well before he turned 1!  Maggie has had a few haircuts, but I don't think she got her first until she was about 2 and a half.  Saturday was Archer's big day!

Coach, Daddy and Hunter took him to the Barber Shop to see Robert!  Robert always cuts Hunter and Coach's hair and sometime Daddy's.  He was also the one to give Hunter his first hair cut! :)

Waiting patiently for his turn...

Hunter went first so Archer could see what was about to happen.

He was a little afraid at first.  He also had to wait a while for his turn.  Ben thinks he would have done better if they didn't have to wait so long.  Robert is a busy guy on Saturday mornings! :)

Once he got going, Archer did great!

Such a big boy!

Robert, Coach and Archer!
Archer was so proud of his haircut!  Last night during his bath Archer kept telling Honey, "You're ruining it!!! You ruining my hair!"  So cute!  He didn't want to mess up his hair!
Thank you, Robert for the haircut and the lollipop! :)

Insta-Friday

I really need to start blogging more!  Only posting an Insta-Friday is lame!
My goal for this coming week... more blogging!  Let's see if I can do it! :)
For now... here's a peek into our week...

The real reason for my run Saturday... Starbucks in a red cup!

Another picture of neighbor love!  They were making a train...

More craftiness on Saturday night... burlap door hangers are my thing these days!

This was our forecast on Sunday... Praise the Lord we did NOT get snow Tuesday! :)

Ballet Monday with Buddy the bunny.
Maggie got to bring Buddy home for the weekend from school!  She LOVES him.
Oh and did a mention she cried (I mean big tears and everything) all the way home from school on Thursday because she missed Buddy so much. :(  Sad day!

This was the temp at the bus stop on Tuesday...
Umm... yeah I happily DROVE Hunter to the bus stop!  Who cares if it was just 3 houses down.  This was WAY to cold for this Texas girl!!!

One of my favorite things to do... watch my babies sleep while praying over them at night!  They are the biggest blessing!  Love them so, so much!
P.S. Archer has fallen in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!  It's so cute!

Up to 19 miles so far in November! Woohoo!  I set my goal pretty low (only 30 miles) but I am super excited my foot has been okay.  Still hurts, but I'm good!  No Pain, No Gain!

This boy can make any day a Happy Day!!
Love him so very much!!!!

Christmas shirts are here!!!!!
We LOVE them!  Maggie's is actually a dress.  And if you notice, Hunter's not only is made out of fake but feels like real leather, it is also Texans' colors (navy, red & white)!  He was one excited little boy!
Although her shop is now closed for the holidays, I love London Stitches on Etsy!  Janna does AMAZING work! If you need a cute shirt for your kids, check out London Stitches!

More crafts!
I made this burlap Santa this week.  So excited for Christmas!!!

Beautiful sunset today in OK on our drive to Coach and Honey's!
I was hoping we would get to drive the the Arbuckle mountains in the daylight... dumb OK City traffic.  Oh well, maybe on Sunday! :)

A little blurry, but we made it!
Texas our Texas!  Oh Hail the Mighty State!

Have a great weekend, everyone!!
Let's see if I blog more this week....

Insta-Friday November :)

Can it really be November already??
We had another great week here in Kansas!
Here's a peek at our week...

Thank you, Aunt Sarah for my awesome new Pioneer Woman cookbook!!
I made her chicken chili (but without the beans) this week.  Yummy!

Time to tackle Daddy!!!

The feet are back, people!  I'm still not 100% healed... my achilles tendon is still not that much better, but I can run at the YMCA on the elliptical.  I know... its not the same, but it's better than nothing!  Praying I'll be running outside again soon!  #30milesinnovember

I made this gobble gobble this week out of burlap and I'm planning on making some Christmas ones this weekend!

Sunday night = TEXANS football!!!  Case Keenum did amazing!!!!!!  So good!  We are so proud!  Can't wait to watch again Sunday!!  Go Texans!!!

Ballet Monday! :)

Rain in the forecast for Tuesday calls for riding cars and playing outside as much as possible on Monday!

So glad Daddy is home on Monday night!

Rainy cold day, so some fall painting was in order!

"Cheese and Sprinkles" on the rocks waiting for Hunter and the bus stop on Wednesday!

This boy would NOT nap on Wednesday.  He is normally the best sleeper!  I finally gave in and let him watch some Mickey Mouse and this happened... sweet sleepy boy!

Another burlap door hanger in the house!
Go Texans!!

Throw Back Thursday... My sweet Hunter-man is hanging in the hallway across of the kitchen in kiddie park at Beltway!  Oh how we miss Beltway!!!! We are still looking for a church home.  Nothing compares to the people of Beltway, but I know God has a place for us here, too!  We'll just keep looking! :)

They wanted a picture together before we walked Hunter to the bus stop this morning!
Best Friends Forever!

Do you have any plans this weekend??
Ben's going to be doing something to get our sprinklers ready for the winter.  (whatever that is)  And besides playing with our sweet kids, I plan on painting some more burlap! :)
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Hallowee 2013

It's taken me a while, but here is our Halloween update!

After school we went up to The Eagle (Ben's work) to trick-or-treat around his office!  They kids had so much fun!  This was Archer's first time to really trick-or-treat.  Last year he just road in the stroller and watched the big kids.  He knew just what to do... and he wanted the candy his way.  He didn't want someone to put a piece or two into his bucket.  He wanted to be the one to grab a handful, a large handful and put it into his bucket. It was so funny to watch!

Then after dinner it was time to trick-or-treat with our awesome neighbors!
Notice Archer did not want in the picture and he did not want to wear his Mickey ears... oh well!

Off they go!

Archer was always the one trailing behind!  So cute!

Trick-or-Treat!

Maggie was so excited!
(as you can tell she was running... sorry it's a little blurry!)

To the next house!
All the kids did a great job!  We had a lot of fun watching.

We had bought Maggie a very cute Little Mermaid costume.  It is really cute and she was all about the little mermaid around her birthday... well she wanted to be a cat.  So I found some ears and she got that very cute tutu from a friend for her birthday.  I think she turned out super cute!  Maybe she'll be The Little Mermaid next year.
Hunter LOVES his Spiderman costume, by the way!  He wears it ALL THE TIME!

Archer was done... no more pictures!  Just give him candy!

We have so much candy, people!  Seriously... someone needs to come and take it!
Love this sweet boy so much!!!
Over all we had a great Halloween!  It was so much fun!

Want to see a funny video??
My kids would definitely be sad if this really happened. lol :)
