Here we go again...

Well the stomach bug has shown his ugly face once again at our house!  YUCK!
Maggie got sick earlier this week and we had thought that maybe Hunter was out of the woods and would not get it... Well he woke us up at 5 this morning sick!  Poor guy!  I felt so bad for him!  He is finally sleeping now.  He stayed up all morning and didn't take a nap until about 4 this afternoon.  I think he was afraid to go to sleep.  It was amazing to me how Ben and I handled everything.  So funny!! Hunter woke us up and boom we got everything done... normally we move so slow in the morning.  Crazy!  I got Hunter cleaned up and bathed.  Ben was out in the front yard spraying off his comforter.  I mean by 6 we were all clean and sitting on the coach watching Disney.  Wow!  But the funniest thing was Hunter.  I told him that Maggie must have given him her stomach bug.  And he replied, "No Momma!  If Maggie would have given me a bug, I would have spit it out!"  I love that boy!!

I think we are on the mend!  Now we are just praying Ben and I stay well!
Have a great week everyone!

High of 85!

So what do you do when it the high is 85 in the month of August in Abilene...
play outside in the clubhouse!!

I took the kids out yesterday morning... it was soooo nice!  I think the temp was in the 70s!

Then Ben took the kids back out last night after I left for cheer practice!

They LOVED it!

It was so nice to finally be able to play.  We haven't been out to play in the clubhouse in a while because it has been sooo hott and well... Maggie eats bugs.  But she didn't eat any while I was outside!  Maybe we are done with that stage... I hope!

So fun!

Gettin' something out of the fridge!  (Note:  She looks like she is walking doesn't she??  Well she could... if she wanted to! She normally chooses to crawl.  She is super fast!)

Sweet Hunter!  He loves being outside!

Don't worry it was nice again today!  We are LOVING this fall like weather!!!  I hope it stays around!

H-Town!

So it has been about 2 weeks, but I wanted to show you pictures from our great trip to Houston.  You see, we had been waiting for Gracie to arrive and thankfully she came a little early!  We left Friday, August 6th, to spend a few days with family.
Here is sweet Gracie!  Hunter was the first to hold her!  He had been talking about holding her ever since he found out she was here on Tuesday.  When he sees pictures of Gracie he says, "I want to hold her again!"

So sweet!!

We love you, Gracie!

Gracie and her Momma!

Maggie with Gracie... Maggie didn't know what to do because she was crying.  Doesn't Mag look sooo big!

On Saturday, we went to Ben's old pool to swim.  We didn't have to many pictures... Sorry!  But Maggie fell asleep.  She was even in the water asleep.  Here she is "laying out".  She didn't want to get any tan lines, ya know! =)

On Sunday we went...

Okay... maybe not Grand Cayman... I was pretending we were here!

We went to Galveston and LOVED every minute of it!

Maggie LOVED it!

Hunter loved playing with David!

I can't get over how much Hunter loved it and he normally doesn't like the water that much!

Hunter liked jumping over the waves with Daddy the most!

And hanging out with Grumpy...

and being with David!

Maggie liked splashing in the water and playing in the sand.

She also liked eating the sand!  Yummy!

Hunter and Nana made sand castles!

Workin' hard!

He became a sand castle pro!

=)

Maggie ate some puffs and watched...

Picnic at the beach!

Hunter liked having a picnic on the beach, too!

Maggie and Nana watched as we all played in the water!  Maggie even took a little nap!

Throwing sand and showing a little crack!

Monday we went to the Astro's game!

Hunter loved it!

And we won, too!

It was 1... 2... 3 strikes you're out...

"CHARGE"  He loved doing this!  I'm sure the people in front of us didn't like it to much!

He even got some ice cream in a hat!

All the guys!

We had a wonderful time in Houston!  Thank you all so much!  We can't wait to come back!  We love you all!

Kool-Aid playdough

Oh my goodness!  It's been waaay too long since I have blogged!  The last 2 weeks have been super, super busy!  Finally things are starting to slow down... a little! =)  I will be posting awesome pictures from our trip to Houston soon!!!  We had such a great time in H-town the other weekend.  I will have some Gracie pictures, too!  She's so cute and sweet!

It's a Kool-Aid day...

We finally made Kool-Aid playdough today!  Yay!!!

Hunter adding the flour!

1/4 cup of salt... Yuck!

After we added the grape kool-aid he had to get a sniff! =)

Mix... Mix... Mix

Then I added water and oil and stirred it over medium heat for a few minutes.

It worked!!!!  Play-dough!!!! (I was getting kind of worried!  I had never made play-dough before.)
Hunter had to get another sniff!

Then into the fridge to cool...

Isn't he cute!

I think we are going to make cherry tomorrow!  It was so easy and Hunter loved it!

I'll be posting more soon... now on to sweeping the floors! =)
Happy Monday, everyone!

Thursday in RR...

I am sorry for the week 1/2 of no blogs, but I am finally finishing up with the vacay pics.  I have new pictures of Maggie that I want to share, but I must finish vacation first... So on to Red River!

Thursday morning Kara, Mike, Ben and I rode on the 4 wheelers to Goose Lake!  We had so much fun! I LOVE riding 4 wheelers, however I must say it is much easer to drive than it is to ride on the back.  Boy did our butts hurt!!!

Here is Ben and me! :)  I love that man!

And we still have it!!! This was our first time to stunt since... ummm... before I got pregnant with Mag Moe.  Yay!  Ben so didn't want to stunt, but I'm glad I talked him into it!  He was glad we did when we were done! :)

Then on the way back Ben did this!

We have our initials carved in an Aspen on the way to Goose Lake! :)

So then once we got down and back into RR we had lunch and took Hunter to do...

SLIDE!!!

Isn't he the cutest!!! He LOVED this slide!

Maggie went with us and watched!  Next time, Maggie, you can go! :)

Daddy took him to the slide on Monday and he talking about going back ever since!

Yay!  He could have done this all day!

After the slide it was time for the shoot out!  They have a shoot out every other day at Fry's Old Town.  Hunter was so excited to watch!  I remember going and watching it when I was little!

Oh yeah and Hunter has a new love... Stewarts Orange Cream Soda!

Here is one of the cowboys in the shoot out!  Hunter loved the part where someone shot someone's pants off.  He still talks about it!

After the show Hunter got to get his very on sherif's badge!

And Maggie got one, too!

Thursday evening we went up to Bob Cat pass and had a "Cowboy evening".  It was a lot of fun.  There was music, good food, and of course cowboy stuff.

Maggie was asleep when we took this picture!  Doesn't Hunter look like a cowboy!?!?!

Should've been a Cowboy!

This was the entertainer while we were eating.  We also had a camp fire and more music after we ate.

Hunter with a real cowboy!

Maggie and Coach about to eat dinner! I love that sweet girl!

Hunter and Honey went out to play after dinner!

Look who one of the performers is... "the cowboy who saved my hat!"  Hunter was so excited!  He did a great job, too!  And we found out he is a champion skier.  He also wrote the songs he sang.  He even sang a song about Jesus!  What a wonderful role model!

By the end of the evening Hunter wanted to do a little roping!  Here he is with his cow.   After a few ropes he thought that cow was to skinny.  He kept going over and getting some hay to feed the cow! :)  Too cute!

We had a wonderful Thursday!!
