It's Maggie's turn!!!
It was Maggie's first day of school! She was so excited.
Maggie is going to preschool at a church near our house. I'm still trying to get used to this Kansas thing and their schools here... She goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoons only. She has been telling me for weeks exactly what she wants and what she doesn't want in her lunchbox... well she eats lunch at home before school. :) It didn't seem to bother her today, though! Thank goodness! :)
She picked her outfit today and she HAD to wear her Twinkle Toes. She loves those shoes!
Such a big girl!
Hanging up her backpack!
She walked right in, Praise the Lord!
When we went to meet the teachers she did not want to go into the classroom. It was the weirdest thing. She wouldn't talk to her teacher at all and just clung to my leg. She NEVER did that at Beltway. I was so glad she walked right in today with no tears! :)
Checking her cubbie to get her things to go home. She had a great day! She liked playing outside and she liked the book they read.
She didn't tell me much else. Oh and they had goldfish for snack. :)
So we normally bake a first day of school treat after the first day, but normally everyone starts on the same day... not this year. We got 2 treats!! Hunter started way back on August 13 and we made cookies. Maggie wanted to make Pink Fairy Cakes. (We love the Charlie and Lola books.)
Yes! Pink! Pink! Pink!
I think she is hoping to wake up all pink like in Pinkalicious!
Archer enjoyed his pink cupcake, too! :)
Hunter was at football practice and ate one later.
Since school is in the afternoon she doesn't get a nap on Tuesdays and Thursdays anymore. Well see how that goes. Tonight she was worn out! :)
I love that sweet Pinkerella! :)
