Happy Birthday Hunter-man! (party pics part 1)

3 years ago today at 10:13 in the morning we got to meet our sweet baby boy!  The Lord has blessed us with one amazing little man!!!  He is such a blessing.  He makes each day so much fun!!  He is so sweet and loving.  He is so funny!  We love every single thing about this sweet boy!  I can't believe he is ours! I can not thank the Lord enough for blessing us with Hunter!  Thank you God for choosing us to be his parents!

Now on to his party... since we have so many pictures I thought I would break it up between posts.  This post is the decorations and the party games... Enjoy!

Hunter waiting for his party to start!  Boy was he excited!!!  He couldn't wait! =)

So Hunter wanted to have a Buzz Lightyear party, so that is what we did!  Ben and I were excited because we like Toy Story, too!  We came up with a bunch of games that went along with the theme.  It was so much fun coming up with games!  I think the kids liked them too.

Ben was able to design some signs for the party games.  They were awesome!  I wish I had a picture of our first activity, but some how I didn't get one. :(  Sorry!  So when the kids started to arrive we took them over to Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head's cookie academy and let them decorate a cookie.  I had baked regular sugar cookies and made some eyes, noses, mouths, and ears out of fondant for the kids to make their our "Mr. Potato Head".

Here are the twins from Hunter's class making their cookies!

Then the kids played in the pool for a little bit until everyone got there.

Then it was off to the next game...

Woody's Quickdraw Target Practice

We gave all the kids some water guns and let them practice away...

Ready, Aim, Fire!

Nice shot, Cailey!

Go Hunter, Go!

That away JD!!!

On to the next game...

Rex's Dino Dig

We used Honey and Coach's sand table and hid those little capsules that you put in water and a spongy dinosaur pops out.  Here they are "digging" for the capsules.

And here they are waiting for the dinosaurs to pop out.  It took a little longer than we thought it would.

On to the next game...

Ham's Penny Pool Dive... we dumped some pennies in the pool and let the kids "dive" (or reach) for them.

Here is Hunter "diving" for a penny.  He hates getting his face wet, but we did have some kids go all the way under to get pennies! :)

Still lookin' for pennies!

Next was the Alien Apple Bobbing... we drew the 3 eyes on some green apples.

Who's going to go first... JD show'em how it's done!

Go JD!

Way to go Kade!

Yay Cailey!  Hunter was not going to do this game.  He hates putting his face in the water.  =)

Last they played on the "Infinity and Beyond Water Slide and Pool"

Hunter and Adam

Slip-n-slide!!!

That's my Hunter-man!  (Of course Daddy had to slide him down.)

And what is a birthday party without cake???

Buzz Lightyear cake!

I was excited how the cake turned out.  I was a little nervous at first.  I love making cakes!  I just don't have the time to do it all the time.  Happy Birthday my sweet Hunter man!!

More picture from the party to come... now off to bed! :)
