Well Hunter is home from CO. He had a wonderful time with Coach and Honey and he saw lots of elk. For those of you who don't know, Hunter got to go with Coach and Honey to Elk Fest in Estes Park, CO. He went for a long weekend the first weekend of this month. We are still hearing stories about his trip. He loved it! Here are a few pictures... I'll try to tell you about them, but if you want the real story, you need to talk to the Hunter-man.
There were Native Americans at Elk Fest. Hunter said he was afraid of the them though. :) I think he might have watched a little to much of Davy Crockett.
Here he is with his number on from the bugling contest. Let me just tell you... They have this big bugling contest. Contestants get on this big stage in front of lots of people and bugle and Hunter did it!!! He was the 2nd person to go and the first person chickened out! He did awesome!! I'll try and put the video up on the blog soon. He didn't win, but got a t-shirt which he LOVES! He is so proud of that shirt!

A better picture with his new hat. It is a buffalo hat, but he calls it his "Red Stick" hat. Red Stick is the Indian from Davy Crockett. (It is also going to be his halloween costume.)

They didn't get to see them "boom fight" but they did get to hear them bugle.

Hunter had such a great time! Thank you Coach and Honey for taking him! If you want to hear about his trip all you have to do is ask! He will talk to your ear off about it! :)
