CRAZY

Well ever since Hunter got his awesome new bike, I have been thinking about my daily run!  I thought I could take all three kids on my run.  Hunter could ride his new bike and the little kids could go in the stroller.  Well this morning we did it! 

I don't know that I will be doing this again anytime soon!  Hunter did awesome!!!  This was his first time riding for that long.  He road 1.5 miles and did amazing!  I had a lot of fun talking to him and watching him ride.  

The little kids... not so much!  Maggie did pretty good.  She only tried to escape once.  Archer was tired!  He didn't want to be strapped down and he hated the sun in his eyes.  There was one time in the run where both little kids were screaming.  Nice... I did have to get Archer out and hold him for a little bit.  But we survived!  I ran (well really jogged) most of the time.  I may try it again in a few weeks, maybe in the evening when the sun is a little better.  I will also give Archer a snack to snack on next time.  

Over all this run was CRAZY!!  Oh well! :) A few calories where burned, right??

Next time I may just take this little guy!  I had fun running beside him as he road!  Love that boy!

Sidewalk paint :)

This morning seemed like the perfect morning for this... Sidewalk paint!  

I had been wanting to do it for months and finally got the stuff out to do it. 

So easy!  Why did I wait so long?!? 

Both kids loved it!

We did get a little on our hands, feet and clothes... that's why we are wearing play clothes today! :)

So what do you need to make sidewalk paint at your house??

1/4 cup corn starch

1/4 cup cold water

Food coloring

Yes, it is that simple!!  Go out and make some today!  We will be doing this again, and again, and again! :) 

Special Announcement...

Pay raise at the Jennings!!!

This girl is no longer wearing diapers!!!!!  WooHoo!!!  

No more going through a huge box of diapers in 2 weeks!  2/3 of the kids are potty trained!  Is it to soon to potty trainer Archer!??!

I do have to say I take no credit in this process.  You see about a month ago I decided it was time, so I put this girl in panties and told her we were potty training.  Hahaha Well she did awesome for about 4 hours and then screamed and screamed to put diapers back on.  Back in diapers she went.  :(

So last Tuesday she woke up and refused to put on a diaper.  I did not think it would last.  I thought she would have one accident and she would be back in diapers, but no.  She wanted to use the potty and not her little training potty but the big potty.  If you know Maggie, you know that she has to do it her way or no way.  I really thought I would wake up the next day and we would be back to diapers, but it has been a week and she is doing great!!  She does wear pull ups at nap time and bed time.  She normal is dry when she wakes up, but I'm not ready to change sheets everyday.  We'll give her a little more time before we take away the pull ups!  

Way to go Maggie Moe!!!  

Insta-Friday! :)

Is it the end of the week already?!?!  Here's a peek into our week! 

Saturday before the party, this little guy had to go get a shot at 8:30.  Boo!!!  He has an ear infection that won't go away and it doesn't help that he is like his Mama and is allergic to penicillin! :( 

Party Time!!  Arrrrr! :) So fun! 

No nap Maggie wouldn't nap in her bed on Sunday, but took a little nap in Daddy's lap! :) Love it! 

Pool in the back yard... this boy is a big fan!!! :) 

Sleeping beauty!  

We went in to check on her on Sunday night to find her sleeping wearing only her shirt... I somehow put a diaper on her without waking her.  magic! :)

Donuts for the big kids on Monday!  Archer had to be at the doctor at 8:30, so donuts for the big kids was a must! 

Another Monday at the gym!  Yay for Gymnastics!!! :) 

The Fighting Irish got to go to the Prairie Dog game on Monday night!!  Hunter was so excited until...

Yep, it got rained out :(

So they were invited back on Tuesday! :)  They got to stand out on the field with the team during the National Anthem!  So fun!! 

fell asleep reading a hunting magazine... makes Coach proud! 

3 mile run on Wednesday... amazing!  So good to be back!  First 3 miler since Archer was born! 

Birthday boy!!!  Happy 5th birthday Hunter!!!!  Daddy got to take the morning off so we took this guy to the zoo and let him do whatever he wanted! 

It was just Hunter, Mommy and Daddy!  What a great morning!

We ended our week with some great friends Friday night!  Wish I would have gotten a picture of all the kids during the Nerf sword war!  So fun!

F.I.V.E.

I cannot believe my baby boy is five!?!  I mean really, where did the time go???  Didn't we just bring him home from the hospital?  That was just yesterday, right??

Sweet Hunter-man, you are such a blessing to me and your Daddy!  You have always been such a happy boy and the sunshine to our days! 

So easy to love!  

You are God's greatest blessing and we are honored and humbled to be your parents!!

 You love the little things.  You don't have to have it all, you like the simple things in life.  

Animal lover, disney lover, sports lover... you enjoy it all! 

Most importantly you love God!  You really want to know him more!  You love hearing and reading Bible stories.  You soak it up like a sponge!  I am amazed at how you remember things in the Bible.  We only have to tell you once and you've got it!  God has big plans for you! 

You love your family!  You love having a sister and a brother!  You also love your friends.   

You are such a great helper!  God knew I needed a helper to help me with your sister and brother and he gave me the best one!  You are great with Maggie and Archer! 

You love being silly!  I love you imagination!  Don't lose that!!  

You have such a tender heart.  You want everyone to be as happy as you are and try to help those who are upset.  

Always excited about new things, new challenges!  

You are a blessing, Hunter!  Your Momma and Daddy love you so much!  We pray you have a wonderful birthday and can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with you!  Thank you for being you!  You are amazing!  And thank you, Lord for blessing us with this amazing little boy!  We love him so much!!!
